Camping

This year we are excited to offer camping on-site at the Nordic Heritage Center!

  • Camping is free for participants in the 12-hour race, and priority space is given to these racers.
  • For all other festival-goers rates will be $5/person/night.  If you do plan on camping we ask that you please pre-register on this website.
  • Upon arriving at NHC you will be directed to check-in with our campsite monitors who will give you your camping pass for the weekend.
  • Campsites will be located in the field next to the parking lot. Campers will have access to bathrooms near the campsites at all times. Locker rooms and showers are available in the main lodge.
  • The ONLY fire allowed at the festival will be a large community bonfire located near the campsites; personal fires are not permitted on site during the festival
  • Please keep in mind that the Nordic Heritage Center is a tobacco free facility.
  • Pets are allowed at the festival, but for the safety and enjoyment of all, we ask that you keep them on leash and pick up after them.
  • Check out the “Area Info” tab for links to other local lodging and camping, such as Aroostook State Park or Arndt’s Campground.

Please remember that the Nordic Heritage Center and the Festival are completely volunteer run, including clean-up.  Do your part by taking care of trash and clean-up.
